Online groups

There are some truly whacked-out people in cybernet. (Not me, of course.)

It goes like this: One day, you're surfing the net, looking for sites that are interesting. You find one of these groups, join up, start to participate in discussion, feeling your way around. Then before you know it, you're involved. Eventually, you take on more responsibility, and there are issues with people every now and again. But for the most part, the people are nice, good, generous, fun.

And then, there are the nutjobs.

And if you're stupid enough to meet them in person, enjoy their company (read: you fell for that "normal" act hook, line and sinker), engage in chats, and personal internet exchanges, and subsequently watch as one begins to show all the hallmarks of a rather significant borderline personality disorder, then you have only yourselves to blame.

And, yes, I blame myself.

The Joy of Pre-menopause

July 23: Yet another period.

I did call the doctor, and he said unless they start coming less than 21 days apart, it still falls within normal parameters.

Hmph.

Well, I'm of an age where I should be headed in the LESS frequent direction, not MORE. No wonder I'm so cranky--every three weeks I'm banished to the Red Tent.

I should be glad it only lasted 4 days.

Two weeks to go for the next period. Or is it one?

Jesus.
