Thank God for Science

Russian proverb: Pray to God, but keep rowing for shore.

Let's use our God-given intellect to solve human problems with science and reason, and pray that science will give us wise solutions for disease, hunger, poverty, global warming and war.

More so, let's use our voices and actions to drown out the Dark Ages "sensibilities" of the religious right.

Is Experience Really Indicative of Good Judgment?

To that have two words: Cheney, Rumsfeld.

Experienced? Oh my, yes. Good judgment? Fuck, no.

So, logically, experience is no true indicator of good judgment.

Soooo... I'm voting for hope. If you can watch this without getting chills, then you don't have a pulse.



Some people are intelligent enough to surround themselves with experience and good council on both sides of the aisle. I trust Obama to be that intelligent.
